try the following
run mozilla firefox
click tools>options>content tab>select font as follows:



then click OK and exit
If you want to configure a little more
then click the advanced tab and select as follows:

then click ok>ok> and exit

Now your browser is configured to read web contents prepared in malayalam unicode font.
